تفاصيل الخدمة
تم مباشرة سيد جمعة سلام عمله في مسجد حذيفة بن اليمان بصفة خادم للمسجد، وذلك بناءً على توكيل من لجنة المسجد المكوّنة من عدد من أهالي المنطقة، دون أي تعيين رسمي صادر عن وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون والمقدسات الإسلامية في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.
وبعد فترة وجيزة، وبناءً على ملاحظة أعضاء اللجنة لقدراته الصوتية وإتقانه لأحكام التجويد نتيجة لمرافقته لشيخ المسجد السابق، قررت اللجنة إسناد مهمة إمامة الصلاة إليه فقط، دون السماح له بإلقاء الخطب أو إعطاء الدروس الدينية، وذلك مقابل أجر أسبوعي مقداره أربعون (40) ديناراً أردنياً، مع التأكيد مجدداً على عدم وجود أي تكليف رسمي من قبل وزارة الأوقاف.
وبعد مضي مدة من العمل، سُمح له بعقد حلقات تعليمية محدودة متعلقة بأحكام التجويد، دون السماح له بإلقاء محاضرات دينية أو إصدار فتاوى، نظراً لعدم حمله أي مؤهلات أكاديمية أو شرعية معتمدة. حيث أنه لا يحمل سوى شهادة دبلوم في الزراعة صادرة عن بلده الأم، جمهورية مصر العربية، كما أنه لا يملك إجازات معتمدة في التجويد أو شهادات حضور دورات شرعية تؤهله لذلك.
ويشار إلى أن سيد جمعة كان في تلك الفترة معيلًا لأسرة تتكون من زوجته وابنتين.
إنهاء الخدمة
تم إنهاء خدمات سيد جمعة بعد أن ثبتت عليه واقعة اختلاس مبلغ مالي يتراوح بين أربعين (40) وخمسين (50) ديناراً أردنياً من أموال التبرعات المخصصة للفقراء والأيتام، الأمر الذي اعتبر خيانة للأمانة وإساءة لثقة لجنة المسجد، رغم ضآلة المبلغ المسروق.
وعليه، تم اتخاذ قرار فوري بفصله من عمله وطرده من المسجد.
نشاطاته لاحقاً
غادر سيد جمعة المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، حيث باشر – وللأسف الشديد – بممارسة أنشطة دينية مشبوهة تحت غطاء الدين، مستغلاً بذلك أفراد الجاليات العربية والإسلامية، لا سيما الجدد منهم في التديّن، مدّعياً زوراً حمل شهادة الدكتوراه في الشريعة الإسلامية، في حين أن هذا الادعاء غير مسند بأي وثيقة رسمية.
ويُعتقد أن غايته من هذه التصرفات هي تضليل العامة وخداعهم للحصول على منافع مالية وشخصية.
ختاماً، نسأل الله تعالى أن يكشف أمر هذه الشخصيات الانتهازية التي تتخذ من الدين ستاراً لتحقيق مصالحها الخاصة، ونسأل الله أن يوفقكم في جهودكم المخلصة لكشف الزيف والدفاع عن جوهر الدين الإسلامي.

Official Statement Regarding Sayed Jumaa Salam from Jordan

Employment Details:
Sayed Jumaa Salam commenced his duties at Hudhayfah Ibn Al-Yaman Mosque as a mosque servant pursuant to an assignment by the mosque’s local committee, composed of members of the surrounding community. His appointment was not issued or sanctioned by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Subsequently, and upon observing his proficiency in Quranic recitation (Tajweed) and his melodious voice—attributed to his close companionship with the former mosque imam who had taught him the rules of recitation—the committee decided to entrust him with the role of prayer leader (imam) for daily prayers only, excluding the delivery of sermons or religious lectures. This role was assigned on a voluntary basis with a weekly stipend of forty (40) Jordanian dinars, and again, without any formal authorization from the Ministry of Awqaf.
Following a period of service and upon further demonstrating competency in recitation rules, he was permitted to hold limited instructional sessions in Tajweed only. However, he was explicitly prohibited from delivering religious lectures or issuing fatwas, as he held no formal academic or religious credentials qualifying him for such roles. His only academic qualification was a diploma in agriculture from his home country, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and he possessed no recognized certifications or ijazahs in Tajweed or participation in qualifying Islamic education programs.
It is also noted that, during this time, Sayed Jumaa was the head of a household, consisting of his wife and two daughters.
Termination of Employment:
Sayed Jumaa’s service was terminated following the establishment of his misappropriation of charitable funds designated for the poor and orphans. While the amount in question ranged between forty (40) and fifty (50) Jordanian dinars, the breach of trust and violation of fiduciary duty toward the mosque’s committee was deemed grave and unacceptable.
As a result, he was dismissed from service and expelled from the mosque premises.
Subsequent Activities:
Sayed Jumaa later departed Jordan to the United States of America, where he reportedly began engaging in questionable religious activities under the guise of Islamic leadership. He allegedly exploits newly practicing members of Arab and Muslim communities, falsely presenting himself as a PhD holder in Islamic Sharia, despite having no legitimate or verified academic credentials. His apparent objective appears to be the deception of individuals for personal financial gain under the cover of religious guidance.
